Histories Take Form

BEGINS July 27-September 28
Taborspace, 5441 SE Belmont St, Portland.
$5/class, materials included, free for all support staff.

We all have a story to tell - a personal history to express – and we all have our own unique way of expressing and making that story known to others. “Histories Take Form” explores and documents untold personal histories through mark making, 3-D composition, weaving both fibers and tales, and recorded oral or performed storytelling. Join Rachel Mulder, Eric Pugh, and others as we find the preferred medium for you to bring your narrative into the world.

About the facilitators
Rachel Mulder earned her BFA in Printmaking from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design and has since adapted those printmaking techniques and processes into other art forms, namely drawing. She has been an art-assistant with a passion for working with people all along the ability spectrum, focusing on facilitating art-making for people based on their individual desires as well as in workshop settings.

Eric Pugh has expertise in digital media including sound recording, photography and video, and also applies this knowledge to interactive art.
